This new publication contains the first talk that Bapak gave at Coombe in 1957 and the last talk that Bapak gave abroad – in the UK, in 1986 – together with accounts of the coming of Bapak and his party, with photos from the archives and much, much more.
Our hope is that this souvenir of the 50 years of Subud in the West will be a reminder to us of not only the spiritual Bapak, who through his talks and counsel provided us with a road map for our own spiritual journeys, but also the physical Bapak who truly was a father to us all.

This is Bapak’s brief, essential account of ‘the history of my journey in developing the latihan kejiwaan of Subud.’
The original, small, paper-back edition from which the text of this edition is taken, was published after Bapak’s death.
This 400 page, Centenary edition incorporates the same English text and contains over 800 photographs to help capture moments and scenes from Bapak’s life. Some of these photographs have never been seen publicly before.
